Dr. John Boakye-Danquah, PhD

I am a scientist trained in sustainability and transdisciplinary approaches. I am dedicated to conducting research that is both action-oriented and focused on finding solutions. Central to my work is the commitment to social equity and the embodiment of the principle of "leaving no one behind," a core principle of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

“I believe that addressing the current socio-ecological crisis goes beyond merely creating innovative socio-technical solutions; it demands that these solutions be both accessible and inclusive, while also ensuring they do not give rise to new forms of inequity.".

I possess a diverse range of experience in collaborative research that bridges the natural and social sciences, with projects extending across the global north and south. My proven record showcases successful partnerships with a variety of external stakeholders, including government entities at multiple levels and organizations within the non-profit sector.
